Life Transforming Testimony

YOU CAN BE A WINNER

              Everybody wants to win, but we know only few achieve. Why? It’s because we live in a world of competition, jealousy, deception and money-mindedness. Now-a- days we can see more people, who hate life because of their inability to reach their goal and those men who forget the benefactors, once their work is done. In this world there are mothers who throw their babies in the garbage bin and fathers who sell their children for money.

          In such a world, a child, born to unknown parents, brought up by a stranger, won the challenges of the world. Being an orphan he was full of sinful desires. Let me tell you his story.

It was a rainy season. A poor couple sold their child to an old couple for just Rs.150 for some reason. The old couple lovingly took care of the child and everybody started to tease him saying “Bought and brought up boy”. So the young man’s heart was broken.

          Now the young man started to learn the bad habits because of not knowing the true love. His deep interest in politics, his love for cinema grew so much, that a cine hero became his god. He formed many fan clubs for his cine hero. He cheated others for living. Starting with selling drugs, country liquor, he ended up as a thief in the police station and was beaten up by the police men every now and then. Once he was beaten so badly and was left in a cycle rickshaw to die.

          Above all he fell sick due to a dangerous disease and the doctors gave up on him. And his friends forsook him, including the cine hero, whom he worshiped as god and the political leaders he loved. They did not even enquire him in his dead bed, at last in agony the poor young man begged his wife to kill him with some medicine, but at the same time a mother who worshipped Jesus came to him and prayed for him. Surprisingly, the young man was healed by AN UNKNOWN GOD, who embraced him, when others forsook him. The joy he experienced at that time was amazing but unfortunately, another surprise was waiting at doorstep.

          On July 28th, 1995 Dhinagaran news paper issued a shocking note his life verdict for burning the folly image of the ruling chief minister. The ruling party men surrounded him with swords to stab him to death. Fearing danger he went inside the Berachah Prayer House (Christian Church) in Chennai for his life. Sis.Yagammal (Founder of Berachah Prayer House) of that church gave shelter to him and prayed for him. And God saved him from all evil. The young man saw the true love of God and that love transformed his life entirely. The words of God he heard there changed his entire character and made him an upright person. He won all the challenges that came against him in his life thereafter and became a winner. Do you know that he is a pastor now?

         Dear readers, I am that young man you read about. Today I can boldly say you too can be a winner. You may have several questions. The LORD JESUS CHRIST who came to me and served me irrespective of caste, religion etc… , will also change your life and make you a winner!

         Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. (Isaiah 49:15) (BIBLE)
